In 2010, with Schodack Island State Park facing closure due to state budget cuts, a group of park users came together to support the park. After our efforts to save the park were successful, we looked for other ways to help. Our mission is to support the park by working with park staff to provide volunteers, develop programs and events, and to provide funds for park needs.
